St. Stephen's Hospital was founded in 1885 and has been committed to educational programmes right from its inception. Today, it ranks as one of the largest well- equipped multispecialty tertiary care private hospitals in Delhi with 501 bed strength. The hospital has ongoing educational programmes for post- graduate training of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.
Established in 1908, we have one of the oldest Nursing Schools in the country. We have been training nursing students since 1908 with the start of 'B' Grade nursing course and in 1952 we started the 'A' Grade Diploma course.
In the year 2008, the School of Nursing was upgraded to a College of Nursing and B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing was started. Currently the College of Nursing runs both graduate and post graduate programmes in Nursing. The College is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and is duly recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and the Delhi Nursing Council. The College is certified ‘A’ Grade Institution by the Joint Assessment Committee of the Department of Higher Education Govt. of NCT of Delhi and SFRC.

The College of Nursing is recognised as a Christian Minority Educational Institution. The Graduate and Post-Graduate programmes are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University:

| 3. General Nursing and Midwifery with 50 Seats and duration of 3 years |

The College has a team of dedicated, well-qualified and experienced faculty who impart diligent classroom teaching and advanced nursing skills. Faculty from the medical fraternity and non- clinical side are also involved in teaching in the College.
